Where are you located and what is your operating procedure?

For over 20 years we have maintained our own offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Over the years we have established partnerships with select factories throughout China, India and Mexico to develop or hand pick products we are most passionate about. As our own rule we only select, develop and sell products that we ourselves would use.

As a business do you offer free shipping worldwide?

In consideration of our shoppers we only offer free shipping. We value your time and business thus we are dedicated to covering all shipping costs.

Where do you ship your products from?

For the most part our shipments are effected from our warehouses in China, India or Mexico. However we also on case by case basis depending on the finished product complete deliveries through our partner companies in the United States or Europe.

Why are your offered prices so affordable?

We believe in offering real value for your money. Over the years we have visited countless factories in a number of countries, this has given us the ability to establish first hand relationships with our partner suppliers on a truly global scale. We work tirelessly with our suppliers to ensure fair and balanced cost prices and for this reason we offer competitive pricing on all our offered items.

Would it be possible to return my product?

Your concerns and requests are important to us. We would appreciate that you share your needs with us by contacting us at  As we are a fair enterprise however we do offer a 30 day exchange or refund policy if your product arrives in a damaged state. 

Do you offer exchanges or refunds?

We make every effort to satisfy our customers if your order arrives in a damaged state please take photos of the damaged product and contact us via email at and we will of course offer a free refund.

We offer competitive pricing on all our products this requires us to work with different suppliers and for this reason we ship directly from our own warehouses or those of our partner suppliers' therefore we would not offer an exchange or full refund for any product that does not arrive in a damaged state

What Payment Options do you accept?

We process all payments via Stripe's gateway and therefore accept online payments through Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club International, Discover, JCB and Apple Pay.

Can I cancel my order?

If your order has not been processed and shipped, you are eligible to cancel it. Please send an email to our customer care team at with your order details.

Are there any additional costs to my purchase?

We are transparent in letting our customers know the pricing structure of our products. Since we offer free shipping worldwide, we will only charge the amount that is listed in the checkout. Apartment 201 does not collect any payment for customs, taxes, VAT, currency conversion rates, or any other fees, and cannot reimburse any extra charges. We do not add any Value Added Tax (VAT) and we shall not be held liable for any taxes your country may impose on your purchase. Should you have any questions or queries as to what products may or may not be permissible in your country we suggest you contact your local customs office in your country for more information.

Why was my purchase rejected?

If your order does not appear in the order history, that mean it did not go through. This could mean that your card was declined for reasons such as insufficient funds, the card being expired or if it was stolen or frozen. We suggest you contact your financial institution to further discuss the matter.

Can I request a refund onto a different credit or charge card if the original credit or charge card is out of commission?

The short but real answer is no we cannot. We suggest you contact your financial institution to further discuss the matter.

What is the offered purchase currency on your website?

All our products are originally priced and offered in UNITED STATES DOLLARS (USD). We also have a currency converter on the top right hand of our home page allowing shoppers to switch product pricing to other currencies while browsing through our products however the purchase invoice issued at checkout will be issued in USD.

Do you offer any discounts or promotions?

We mostly offer seasonal promotions and flash sales from time to time. Please sign up to our mailing list or follow us on social media so you never miss that special deal.
